Paul lives and breathes brands and has founded some of Melbourne’s most successful agencies over his 20 years in advertising, brand communications and design. The founder of Australian advertising agency Smart, Paul now focusses on brand development in his latest exciting venture HubGroup where he stands at the head of creative. Large businesses to SME’s alike can benefit from his big brand thinking honed from a diverse range of experience working with blue-chip brands including: Adidas, Disney, News Limited, Volvo, Seek and Levi’s to name just a few. Paul supervises and directs every facet of Hub’s brand strategy, advertising and design.
With 15 years of experience from both Agency and Client side, Serrin has been an integral part of our team since 2009. After a BComm from Melbourne Uni and 5yrs with The Just Group, Serrin decided to cross over to the ‘dark side’. Beginning in BTL and then transitioning to ATL with JWT Sydney, Serrin specialised in on FMCG accounts such as Nestle and Kellogg for the first 5 years of her agency career. A move back home to Melbourne saw her joining Melbourne’s fastest growing integrated agency Smart (Now McCann), and running several lifestyle, fashion and retail accounts. Serrin eventually held the role of Managing Director with Smart before joining HubGroup in that same capacity. As well as being our strategic leader on several Clients and new business, Serrin is also very hands on in the delivery of campaigns to Clients’ objectives for brand, timing and budgets.

Understanding brands and why people love or loathe them has been the driving force behind Anna’s career. She has spent the last 20 years working in advertising client services and brand strategy with Australian and International businesses including Buena Vista, Birds Eye Walls, Medibank, Myer and NAB. After CHI London, GPBates Melbourne and Smart, Anna was inspired to set up HubGroup as an independent, boutique brand agency to prove that businesses don’t need Coca-Cola marketing budgets to create truly successful brands – just vision, creativity and dedication to making it happen. Anna leads the team and oversees HubGroup’s new and current relationships to make sure objectives are met and exceeded for the agency and client teams alike.
